Today we premiere a track by Canada based DJ and producer Tommy Lewis. His track 'Guava' is part of the joint Playa EP with Irish starlet Dylan Fogarty. This 5 tracker acts as the fourth release on the newly launched PHTM label. With 'Guava' closing out the release in a steady, progressive manner. Tommy Lewis and Dylan Fogarty team up in bringing their two techno orientated styles together, which has resulted in their collaborative Playa EP that was released today on Tommy's PHTM label. With Lewis hailing from Essex, England and now based in Vancouver, and Dylan based in Dublin, Ireland. They have both come together to create a 5 track EP that is rich in depth and flooded with groove from start to finish. Tommy's work doesn't go unnoticed, with recent support received worldwide on his releases as a solo artist and his esteemed PHTM imprint. He has been making a name for himself of late, most notably with an impressive string of self releases on his Soundcloud that has garnered support from a number of high-profile artists. Some of which include Tommy Holohan, Kettama and Dustin Zahn. Picking up a headline show in Fibber’s Basement courtesy of LOST and performing at Hidden Love day-parties in the capital, with an Index main room support slot imminent for TRYM. It’s clear that Dylan is only getting started on his musical journey and you can expect to hear much more from him in the near future. Guava sees off this joint release between Tommy Lewis and Dylan Fogarty. Focusing on a sleek, steady, build and progression for the duration of the tune. Equipped with a thumping kick-drum and bellowing bass-line, that results in a pacing groove which is identifiable throughout.
