As long as we live in corruptible bodies, we’re going to face the desert of temptation. Sometimes we’re even going to stumble. The greatest saints have despaired over their propensity toward temptation even in their old days. Even so, we don’t have to throw in the towel and simply give in. Jesus modeled for us how to battle temptation and live victoriously, and we are called to follow His example.
