A card of rest, reflection, and (often) solitude, it’s got me thinking about breakups, and an old phrase my mom would say to me whenever I was grieving a loss: “People enter our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.” The Four of Swords can teach us about impermanence, and the beauty in loss.
