Greens succeeded in passing a State law on law enforcement that allows trans identified people to choose prisons reserved for the opposite sex (with some limitations) without any public debate Jennifer B. Bilek - an investigative journalist, artist and activist living in the United States. USA Topic: What and who is behind Transgender Ideology? Jaclynn J - Originally from Hawai’i, USA, now based in Taiwan, I am a PhD student in the field of feminist philosophy. I am a university lecturer, a published writer, and budding activist working in the field of women’s rights and gynocritical research. I have created and manage one of the only feminist-focused book clubs in Taiwan, volunteer with various non-profit organizations, and am a voracious reader. I love traveling, ancient and medieval history, critical thinking, and challenging the status quo. Topic: Gender identity ideology in Taiwan - On September 23, the Taipei High Administrative Court issued a ruling allowing a trans-identified male calling himself “Xiao E (小E)” to change his legal sex to female without sex reassignment surgery — the first of its kind in Taiwan. How did this ideology reach Taiwan — an Asian nation on the edge of the Pacific? It appears certain groups in Taiwan have been working in near secrecy to make this law happen, leaving the public and especially women's organizations completely out of the loop. Luba Fein - Israeli abolitionist, a member of the women anti-prostitution coalition, and FILIA volunteer Topic: An abolitionist struggle and implementing the Nordic model in Israel.
