It is attended by a global feminist and activist audience of between 200-300. The main focus is how gender ideology is harming the rights of women and girls. This week’s speakers: Mónica Alario Gavilán - Spain - The Sexual politics of pornography - Sex, inequality, violence. Bio: International Phd on Gender Studies. Expert on pornography and sexual violence. Author of "Sexual politics of pornography: sex, inequality, violence" Lauren Adams - USA - Fighting for Single-Sex Prisons in the U.S. - WoLF is suing the state of California to overturn their law allowing men to be housed in women's prisons based on "gender identity." I will discuss the case itself and will also touch on similar policies in other U.S. states and at the federal level. Bio: Lauren is the legal director of Women's Liberation Front (WoLF). She has written amicus briefs in support of women's sports, free speech, and free association and she co-authored the Women's Bill of Rights. Lauren leads WoLF’s lawsuit against the state of California challenging its "gender identity" prison policy. Malaleche - Mexico - "Esto nunca pasa" - Hablando de las nuevas formas de violencia misogina - This never happens.
