from Courageous Clergy · host Catholic Clergy
Fr. Edward Meeks recounts the story of Lazarus and the rich man to discuss the reality of Hell. Jesus states that we cannot rely upon our religious pedigree to merit the rewards of Heaven. Hell is the natural consequence of the choices people make in life. We need to exercise an urgency about finding our way to heaven and helping others to do the same.
