She shares how she ended up in San Francisco, her (sometimes embarrassing) favorite movies growing up, how she was able to create a space for communities that are continually displaced in SF's Bayview district, and why film is a great gateway to other art forms. We then discuss our collective excitement over this year's festival lineup, including an epic (and free!) Juneteenth block party in the Castro District to kickoff the whole event.
