Frances the Wilderness Abbess

Frances Smathers is a community chaplain and the founder of The Order of Hildegard community, where people from many backgrounds and spiritualities are trained as community chaplains. Frances is a Scorpio Sun with a Scorpio stellium, Virgo rising, Pisces North node, and is always growing and fluidly changing. She is rooted in the early Christian communities traditions before the church became an empire. She is especially passionate about the spirituality of Mary Magdalene and the call for us to to radically integrate our experiences with love.
