Some movies build a universe that expands the lore and mythos, that delves deep into other characters and builds new ways to love what you already loved.  They are treasures that feel like each moment is a part of a greater whole. Some movies need to make rent so they sell themselves to whatever bidder happens to have a coupon for a McRib Value Meal.
