Francis identified the following trends for UK PR in 2016: UK public relations has grown by approximately 10% in 2016 according to the PRCA numbers, following a similar growth pattern of recent years.Public relations is becoming more blended disciplineNiche specialist agencies are doing well, alongside agencies with an international offer. Mid-sized generalist agencies having a far tougher time as media relations becomes commoditised.Brexit created a period of uncertainty for the pr sector but we've yet to see a significant downturn.
