Francona’s Redemption Amid Reds’ Struggles | Cincinnati Reds News

The Cincinnati Reds are in freefall, losers of six in seven games and ten games under .500, but manager Terry Francona remains upbeat—thanks to the stability of president Nick Krall and GM Brad Meador, who convinced him to return after retirement for health reasons. Despite his storied career and a chance to crack the all-time wins top ten, Francona’s current team is struggling after a strong April, now flirting with last place—a spot he hasn’t seen since 1999. Injuries, including Hunter Greene’s season-ending absence, and underperforming stars like Eugenio Suarez have sunk the bullpen and offense. Yet there’s hope: rookie Sal Stewart is a ROY frontrunner, and Elly De La Cruz is lighting up the stat sheet. Even Krall admitted the organization needs better decisions and consistency to turn things around. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
