First, read Gene Edward Veith's piece 'Modern Fascism Revisited' in this month's issue of Tabletalk Magazine for reflections on Veith's 1993 book, 'Modern Fascism: Liquidating the Judeo-Christian Worldview.' Second, Frank Herbert's 1965 science fiction novel 'Dune,' which just a few weeks ago had a most excellent film adaptation released in the U.S. Spoiler alert: fear is the mind killer.
