Frank Herbert and Dune, Gene Edward Veith and Modern Fascism

Let us consider two things in relation to one another and our present condition. First, read Gene Edward Veith's piece 'Modern Fascism Revisited' in this month's issue of Tabletalk Magazine for reflections on Veith's 1993 book, 'Modern Fascism: Liquidating the Judeo-Christian Worldview.' Second, Frank Herbert's 1965 science fiction novel 'Dune,' which just a few weeks ago had a most excellent film adaptation released in the U.S. Spoiler alert: fear is the mind killer.
