Frank Lara previews his next race the Houston half marathon, talks college memories, and more!

Today I’m joined by Frank Lara! Frank runs for the roots running project group based in Boulder, Colorado and specializes in the 5k-marathon. His next race is the Houston half marathon this Sunday on January 15th. The field is absolutely stacked but Frank hopes to put himself in a position to win and give it all he’s got. 🗣️”I am feeling very excited! The Houston half marathon, I’ve run it once before and that went super well. It was one of the examples where I surpassed my coaches prediction for me pretty heavily… all that to say it’s a race that I’m very familiar with... This is a race that I wanna put myself in contention to win for and I think it’s gonna be tough and it’s gonna be a fast race.” Throughout this episode Frank discusses how he’s feeling going into the Houston half marathon, why he joined the roots running project, his race at the Chicago marathon and some funny would you rather questions as always!
