Frankenstein and 1984: Exploring personal and societal monstrosity

from Tales of Our Time

Today is the final of our four-episode collaboration with recent graduates (and almost graduates) of the Canadian Independent Micro School, where students share with us the books that impacted them the most in their education (so far). This follows a similar format to our regular episodes, but features two books chosen and presented by students.  Today we're hearing about Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley, " Unmasking the true monster " as explained by Matt. We'll also be hearing about 1984 by George Orwell, " They shall never stop watching " explained by Bo-Jeng.
