Let'z go back 2 the yr of 1995 in NYC. Frankie Knuckles was resident DJ @ The Sound Factory Bar & that'z where all his Hot 97 mixes were recorded live from as you listen here. Frankie alwayz had his portable Sony Dat Recorder with him. If you listen really carefully you can faintly hear the crowd noise. Another thing I must mention... just my personal preference, I actually liked Frankie sets from the mid 90'z more than those from Chicago'z mid 80'z... Just my personal preference. 1 last thing, Frankie's remix of Michael Jackson's 'You Are Not Alone" alwayz bringz a tear 2 my eyes.
