Frasier

Few actors outside of 'The Simpsons' can say they played a single character for over two decades. But Kelsey Grammer has the distinction of playing Dr. Frasier Crane for over 20 years — 30, if you count the upcoming 'Frasier' revival. But how did this pedantic, pretentious psychiatrist also become one of TV's most beloved characters? That's what we try to find out in our latest episode, during which Allison and Kate investigate the history of 'Frasier,' starting from his roots on 'Cheers.' Along the way, we discover Grammer's extraordinarily tragic past, his interesting eating style, and a story involving the original Eddie that will tear your heart out.
