Fred (full interview, minimally edited)

from Just The WHO Of Us · host Falolity llc

In this episode, I interview my eldest son's father Fred. Fred has spent most of his life dealing with depression, tragedy, and navigating difficult life choices. He first became a father at age twenty-one to a son we share. I first became a mother at age fourteen. This interview discusses difficult focuses surrounding our age difference, why we were estranged for many years, and how to focused on healing ourselves to be better parents for our children as well as how we navigate things like depression and life long trauma. This episode is a compilation of all three parts, previously broken into three episodes. In this full length interview, Fred and I discuss all things from the beginning of our romantic and parenting relationships, and unravel the layers of emotions, life experiences, and regrets around age difference and absent parenting. By the end, we focus on how we planned to work toward healing, how mental health has played a role in their own lives, and our individual futures. This interview also showcases the growth I have had as a podcaster from recording, interviewing, and editing alike.
