Freddie Machine Live From Orlando, FL. 4-7-2000' Pt 1 (Manny'z Tapez)

Here'z another great mixtape find. Let me introduce you 2 DJ Freddie Machine. Freddie is originally from Jamaica & was a resident DJ @ Club Studio 54 in Jamaica. When in the military, Freddie was stationed in NYC & became a member @ the legendary Paradise Garage. The 1st time I saw Freddie was when I went with my radio show partner DJ Cano 2 a Rave he was playing at. The place had like 5 roomz & in 1 of the roomz we had 2 walk through Freddie was playing. And I'll never 4get when we walked in that room, Freddie dropped 'Bra' by Cymande. I stopped and was like who is this cat!!? I knew one day I had 2 meet him. Brother new his muzik. Imagine this muzik being played in a rave.... WOW!!! Now when I 1st met Freddie, I was shopping @ Robby Clarks Underground Record Source minding my own business when suddenly someone tapped my shoulder & said, You're Manny correct. You're that guy that'z bringin all those Chicago Boyz 2 Florida. And I was like yes that'z me & from there we connected. Comparing muzik notes & history. That was sometime in the mid-90'z. Fast Forward a few years & Freddie invited me to his apartment. When I walked in I was blown away. His entire living room was a replica of Larry Levans DJ Booth from the garage, even with 2 Bozak DJ Mixers & vinyl all over the place. Once he played me a few tunes, I was like hold on. Let me get a tape , paper & pen & was like educate me some on that Garage shizal. And this tape is thee outcome. We linked up another night & I have that recorded too ;-) But 4 now, Let'z let Freddie 'Machine' Wilson take us there... & I'm sure if any of the Garage Headz listen they will dig.
