Free Comic Book Day 2017
from Robots From Tomorrow! Hosted by Greg Matiasevich, Mike Romeo
With FCBD 2017 mere days away, the lads take a look at how the annual LCS outreach program has grown from such humble beginnings while picking out their favorites from the FIFTY different titles offered up gratis this year. Does FCBD offer a more level playing field for smaller publishers to be noticed by all the new customers? Which comics pass and fail the thumbnail test? All that, plus an unpacking of DC's decision to reprint a single WW issue for its FCBD offering, why Marvel loves its Secrets like DC loves its Crisises, the similarities of Captains, and why you should STILL buy something at the comic shop (even on FCBD) on this free-form Free Comic Book Day episode! Robots From Tomorrow is a weekly comics podcast recorded deep beneath the Earth's surface. You can subscribe to it via iTunes or through the RSS feed at RobotsFromTomorrow.com. You can also follow Mike and Greg on Twitter. This episode is brought to you by Third Eye Comics. Enjoy your funny books.
