Free family history workshops offered at Pleasanton church

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints invites community members to explore their ancestry at free family history workshops. These are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 636 Oakhaven in Pleasanton. The next workshops are set for Aug.12 and Sept.9. The workshops are free and open to the community. All ages are welcome and no experience is necessary. Participants are invited to just learn and have fun.Laptops will be available, and coaches will be there to help.
