Free Firewood Available Near Flagstaff

Send us a text and chime in!Free ponderosa pine firewood is available near Canyon Vista Campground approximately 5 miles southeast of Flagstaff along Lake Mary Road for valid free-use permit holders. About 300 cords of firewood are currently available and visible from the road, which includes full-length logs that are 10-14 foot long and neatly stacked near Sandy Canyon Trailhead. Free-use firewood permits can be obtained at the Flagstaff Ranger Station or Forest Headquarters and allow up to five cords of wood per permit.
