Free from Shame – Morning Prayer for the First Wednesday of Advent

It’s the First Wednesday of Advent in the Church Calendar This week we are following the Daily Office lectionary with an episode Monday through Friday. We are celebrating Andrew the Apostle today. Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing “O Taste and See” by Brian Johnson and Jenn Johnson. We’ll then offer a Prayer of Confession. We’ll read Psalm 19:1-6 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture Lesson is Matthew 4:18-22 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day.
