Claiming that the long-standing rule which allowed the federal government to hold states, cities, and private entities accountable for upholding structural racism does not “sufficiently serve the public interest,” Bondi is paving the way for a rash of racist policies to flow freely from the most right wing areas of the country, and the more polite, sweeping of the problems under the rug in more progressive areas.
