Free State Crinums and Proteas star Refiloe Nketsa on the return of Karla Pretorius

The Free State Crinums captain and Proteas legend Karla Pretorius is locked and loaded to make her eagerly anticipated return to the court on Friday as the 2026 Telkom Netball League gets underway in Durban. The 37-year-old will lead the four-time champions into battle against the Eastern Cape Aloes in their opening match, with the team eager to make an early statement and start their campaign on a high. Refiloe Nketsa, who remains one of the key players to watch, told OFM Sport that having Pretorius back on court – and leading the team – is a massive lift.
