Free Throws Aren't Free, Jaden Hardy Emerges

In this episode Jay and Fazal are at a loss of words after another back-to-back of demoralizing losses, this time to the Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls. They discuss how the Mavs managed to blow a 11-point 4th quarter lead and not capitalize on Giannis Antetokounmpo fouling out late in the game, due to disastrous free throw shooting. They talk about how frustrating it is that the Mavs are top-5 in the NBA in generating free throw attempts, but are the second-worst team in free throw percentage. Finally, they talk about Jaden Hardy's 15-point performance in a blowout loss to Chicago in which Luka Dončić did not play. They dish on how much Hardy has improved since his showing in the Las Vegas Summer League in July, and how the Mavs can benefit from his IQ and nose for scoring.  This is a public episode.
