Free Will: What's Grace Got to Do With It? Ep. 2
from Orthodocs.faith · host John Harman and Ron Bentley
This is the second episode where John and Ron explore the interplay between grace -- what God does for us -- and free will -- what we decide for ourselves. In this episode, they delve into numerous excerpts from scripture that inform this topic, but it includes passages that also raise as many questions as they answer. As always, though, they look to all of scripture, the Old and New Testaments alike, and they discover a key in the Old Testament perspective that clearly illuminates New Testament language about predestination.Join John and Ron as they take this next step exploring a question that subsequently consumed the ancient world: if we are utterly dependent on God's grace to restore our relationship, what do our own decisions have to do with it?
