Freedom

Pop Reggae song about Freedom, with guitar, cello... Lyrics : Freedom is in the mind, the sole ruler of which is, no one but yourself. Freedom is our most precious possession, expression. Fear is a prison, avidity a swamp And ignorance is a moonless night. It is easy to take liberty for granted when it has never been taken from you. Re-examine all that you have been told… And dismiss that which insults your soul. By dint of attachment you bound yourself. By force of free thoughts, you’ll release yourself. The first step is to control yourself. No man is free who is not master of himself. Education and examination make the stairs to freedom. To understand is to be free. The truth will set you free. Only fools revere their bounds. Let go, oh let go, of the baggage you’re dragging around. Bury them, in the ground. One’s freedom stops where another’s begin. Live and let live, Your freedom, you use it or loose it. Everything and everyone depends on something or someone else. All life depends on causes. All freedom is a freedom from something, which can be anything. In the realm of causality, there is no absolute. Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery. None but ourselves can free our minds. For what avail to plough or sail, or land or life, if freedom fails, so does our responsibility. Any fool can make a rule and any fool will mind it. Think for yourself and let them all do the same. Embrace freedom of thoughts. On the other side of the river of fears and illusions lie the shores of the land of freedom. Tame birds sing of it, wild birds fly to it. Do not give up essential liberty for temporary security. Oh come, come wisdom, come Freedom. Live free or let dry your bones. Equanimity deliver me, Your will is free, write your own story. Cultivate freedom of thought before demanding freedom of speech. All addiction depends on habits. here is the robber of our free will. Don’t claim freedom, practice it. it cannot be bestowed but must be achieved Only fools revere their bounds. Let go, oh let go, of the baggage you’re dragging around.
