Because we are all human, we are all acquainted with guilt. All of us at some time or another have said or done something that we later regretted. A guilty conscience robs us of our peace, but this is not God's will for us. Guilt often comes from sin and the realization that we have done wrong; it stalks our minds and tries to steal our happiness and mental stability. However, the finished works of Jesus enable us to deal with this emotion; His blood is the answer to our sin and guilt. Choosing any other way to deal with it will lead to failure.
