In the first of a two-part series on Freedom from Urgency, we cover these three things you need to focus on: Margin: Leave more time than you think you need for the things that matter. Frenzy is a choice. Intentionality: Instill a sense of intent. In the absence of intentionality, urgency reigns supreme. Boundaries: Make sure that there are banks to your river. Boundaries are the price of impact. Proactive questions to ensure intentionality:  What needs to be done? What time do I need to be done?  What needs to be accomplished by that time? What will get in our way? How do we address that on the front end? What a person with boundaries knows: Good things end Leaders have limits  Every "yes" is also a "no." A person who struggles with boundaries should focus on  Avoiding making emotional commitments Evaluating your calendar ahead of time Set reasonable expectations Build In Public Episode Our whole team is rooting for you.
