Freedom in the Wilderness | Lent Devotion

A Lenten Devotion | Week OneJesus’ 40 days in the wilderness was not a time of weakness, but a place of strength. It was a time of intimacy—initiated and sustained by the Holy Spirit in the wilderness. On the other side of those 40 days, Jesus was led out of the wilderness with a sense of power in the Spirit, clarity and confidence in God’s purposes for him, and deepened connection with the Father. This is our prayer for Lent in 2025. That each of us would be renewed in strength, confident of God’s leading in our lives, drawn towards deeper intimacy with the Father, and filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.
