On April second, the US Supreme Court ruled 5-4 that law enforcement can strip search anyone arrested for any reason, included non-violent victimless crimes such as speeding tickets. The Court also ruled unanimously that police officers can lie in court while under oath. Nebraska LB 1035 passed the Senate on second reading. This is the bill to make it easier for a party to remain on the ballot.
