President Obama and presumed GOP Presidential nominee Mitt Romney have both made public statements about marriage recently. Obama claims that his views have evolved over the years. Romney's position may be consistent, however it is not historically accurate. The central question... is whether the state should be dictating the domestic arrangements of consenting adults. The grassroots organization, Free the Hops, was successful in getting the Alabama Legislature to pass the Gourmet Bottle Bill. And activist Derrick J Freeman was recently sentenced to 540 days in jail for dancing, smoking, going to court, and riding a bike.
