French II is a Dutch DJ and producer based in The Netherlands. Drawing from a wide range of influences, his sound can be described as Dark, Moody, broken and sub heavy. French II builds a world for himself exploring every corner of the dance floor. His sound is intelligent but also effective since he’s eager to keep in touch with the dance floor. He has been releasing on Intercept Records and Nerve collect two labels close to his heart, and performed on festivals such as Dekmantel, Draaimolen, Wildeburg and Best Kept Secret, weaving together breaks, bass and techno. French II is also hosting his own club night Go! Since 2022. In September 2021 he earned himself a residency at the celebrated Amsterdam DJ-bar Radio Radio. With the familiar genre-disobedience, he seems to vent his more introspective side and provide the freedom for experimentation, giving room for melancholic atmospheres and brooding basslines to step in. www.operator-radio.com
