Fresh Wood
from Sanjay Prajapati · host Dr. Sanjay Prajapati
God is not just looking for sacrifice. He’s looking for fire. In Leviticus 6:12, the Lord commanded that the fire upon the altar was to keep burning and never be put out. The priests had a daily responsibility to bring fresh wood, arrange the offering, and maintain the flame. That same principle speaks to us today. God is not asking you to start a new fire every day. He is asking you to keep the fire burning. In this teaching, “Fresh Wood,” we continue Part 2 of “Let There Be Light in the Sanctuary” through the Torah portion Tzav, which means “Command.” This message will encourage you to examine the altar of your own heart and ask: Is my fire still burning today? "12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings." (Leviticus 6:12 KJV)
