Freshman Star Muhammad Shines at Syracuse | Syracuse Orangemen Football News

Freshman defensive back Ibn-Wadu Muhammad is making waves at Syracuse—standing just 5’11” and weighing 196 lbs, he’s a dual-threat weapon who dominated high school football with 53 catches for 875 yards and 11 TDs, plus 18 carries for 216 yards and 2 scores. He also terrorized defenses with 8 sacks, 37 tackles, and a fumble forced. After choosing Syracuse over Temple, Old Dominion, and Akron, he’s now poised to contribute on special teams early, though climbing the depth chart at safety may take time. With a three-star recruiting profile and elite high school stats, Muhammad’s college journey promises to be one to watch.
