Freshman Tight End Arrested for Speeding | College Basketball News
from College Basketball News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
South Carolina freshman tight end Caden Ramsey is suspended after police caught him speeding at 113 mph in a 60 mph zone, racing another vehicle and weaving through traffic. Coach Shane Beamer called it out of character for Ramsey, who he says is a good young man and knows he made a mistake. Ramsey’s attorney insists this is just a citation, not a conviction, and Ramsey was not impaired or carrying a firearm. Police also found two pistols in the other driver’s car, one with a full-auto conversion. The legal process is ongoing as the team handles the situation internally.
