Fresno State Lands Spanish Point Guard

Fresno State just added a European playmaker: Roger Fabrega Urpina, a 6-1 Spanish point guard who led his Segunda FEB league in assists last season with 6.1 dimes per game. He also averaged 8.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.3 steals while shooting 40% from the field and 65% from the line. Now the second point guard on the roster alongside incoming transfer KJ Perry, Urpina brings elite passing and scoring ability to Coach Vance Walberg’s rising Bulldogs squad — a smart move as they aim to make noise in the 2026-27 season.
