TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. God in Jesus Christ takes the human nature in order to share in our humanity. The sacrament of baptism makes us the children of God. The implication of this is that we are made to share in the Divine nature (Divinity) of God while still still in human form. As human be fully involved int he life of your society to the extent that it doesn't blur your vision of eternity nor hampers your doing the will of God. On the other hand, sharing in the divine nature of God, in all things we must aim higher than the values inherent in the transient things of the world to focus on the values of the kingdom of God which by their nature are eternal and unchanging.
