TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. We're often filled with admiration for and stand in awe of the beauty and greatness of created things in the world. However, there's hardly a corresponding reverence for the one responsible for the coming into being of all that is in the world. No matter how knowledgeable one is in the things of this world, IGNORANCE OF GOD IMPLIES ABSOLUTE FOLLY. Similarly, one cannot claim knowledgeable of God without knowing, appreciating and applying oneself to the created things of the world. May our knowledgeable and use of the things of this world lead us to a better understanding of God, a deeper worship of Him and a richer relationship with Him.
