TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. Sharing in the sufferings of Jesus Christ, Mary participated in the work of our salvation. Like Jesus, her beloved son, she learnt to obey through suffering. In this way, she became a great collaborator with Jesus Christ in bringing about the salvation of humanity. The call to work conscientiously for the salvation and well-being of others, our families and our society demands of us the life of sacrifice.
