A tireless champion of the city, he was also city editor of at The Beacon News. He will certainly be missed. Representatives from Family Focus, the LCLAA & World Relief will be there to answer questions regarding immigration. Hosted by State Representative Barbara Hernandez, Alderwoman Juany Garza and our friends Ana & Casildo Cuevas, registration is required for this helpful event. You can call 630-256-3020 to do so. - There’s a helpful and fun family event coming up for the month of December. Working with great sponsors and community partners, The Neighbor Project & Aurora FEC (financial empowerment center) will provide information and more resources for free at this event. The date is December 11th and the event will be from 1 to 4 pm at 1 E. Benton street (gallery 1904, lower level). Santa will also be on hand for cool holiday photos; health resources will be provided by our friends of VNA Healthcare as well. Please help spread the word and come out to this great event.
