We will learn about the Three Fires Council organization and the benefits of scouting for youth. Get ready to learn! Here's the news: - Free financial coaching as a public service is available from the City of Aurora’s Financial Empowerment Center and the Neighbor Project. Help is available in over 150 languages and our counselors are standing by to help you. Visit their office Mondays thru Fridays from 9 am to 5 pm at 712 South River Street or call (630) 256-4552 and schedule your appointment today! - Wednesday, April 12th join the Neighbor Project, AID & the Hesed House for an excellent seminar and discussion titled: Housing 101 (The Need For Affordable Housing In Our Communities). This will take place at Wesley United Methodist Church, located at 14 N. May street on Aurora’s west side, and will be from noon to 2 pm. The topic of discussion will be focused on the need and creation of more affordable housing options in southern Kane county and the City of Aurora. Boxed lunches, including vegetarian options will be provided. Registration is required.
