O Jerusalem glorify the Lord!O Jerusalem, glorify the Lord!  O Sion praise your God!  He has strengthened the bars of your gates;  he has blessed your children within you.He established peace on your borders;  he gives you your fill of finest wheat. He sends out his word to the earth,  and swiftly runs his command. He reveals his word to Jacob;  to Israel, his decrees and judgements.  He has not dealt thus with other nations;  he has not taught them his judgements. R/. O Jerusalem glorify the Lord! Alleluia, Alleluia. Jesus was preaching the Gospel of the kingdom and healing every infirmity among the people.  Alleluia.Gospel: Luke 5:12-16A reading from the Holy Gospel according to LukeWhile Jesus was in one of the cities,  there came a man full of leprosy;  and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged him,  “Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.”  And he stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying,  “I will; be clean.”  And immediately the leprosy left him.  And he charged him to tell no one;  but “go and show yourself to the priest,  and make an offering for your cleansing,  as Moses commanded, for a proof to the people.”  But so much the more the report went abroad concerning him;  and great multitudes gathered to hear and  to be healed of their infirmities.  But he withdrew to the wilderness and prayed. The Gospel of the Lord.
