Amnon rapes their sister Tamar, which makes Absalon furious. Anger and bitterness can take over your heart when wrong is done against someone you love. You'll learn that Absalon actually didn't do anything for a long time, but as that bitterness took root in his heart, he eventually killed his own brother in vengeance.
