Have you ever been forced to take a detour because of traffic or construction—especially when your phone didn’t warn you? It’s frustrating when the longer route wasn’t part of the plan. The Israelites knew that feeling well, as they wandered through the desert, growing discouraged along the way. When your own plans get rerouted, life can feel even more disappointing.
