Some of the rules we find in Scripture seem very strange in our culture. All these rules can seem outdated and like God was just being nitpicky. Many were specific to the culture that God wanted to implement for Israel, but they had a deeper purpose that teaches us about His character. As Pastor Dan will point out in today’s message, God wanted to set Israel apart. Not so they could garner attention for themselves, but so they could stand out in a way that would draw the world’s attention to Him.
