Our God is a loving Father and a benevolent, all-knowing Creator. Everything that is in this world, and every element of our lives, is held together by Him. Yet, we want so badly to be the ones in control. As Pastor Ron will point out in the example of Jacob, God often allows hard circumstances as an opportunity for us to grow. It can feel like we’ve been left on our own, but the trial offers us a chance to open our eyes and see the way God is there, carrying us through.
