If you were to equate works to faith, you're essentially saying that if you do enough things like praying, reading you bible, or singing worship, etc then you have faith... But that's not what faith is. Faith is trust... Faith is trusting the Lord to do what He says He will do when He says He will do it. Often times it's easy to see a promise from God and want it now rather than on the Lord's timing.
