Friday of the 3rd Week of Lent

Today's readings explore the heart of authentic faith—turning away from false securities and embracing wholehearted love of God. The prophet Hosea calls God's people to abandon their idols and return to the Lord who offers healing and new life. Jesus then reveals that the greatest commandment is to love God completely and to love our neighbors as ourselves.
