Okay, okay, okay. TikTok, what day is it Kira? Oh, I believe it's June 45th. I'm out of literally right now.

Oh, right now. Well, today it is April 12th. But what's tomorrow? Oh, tomorrow is Friday the 13th Friday.

Friday the 13th. Kind of get down on... There's gotta be a dozen teens. Yeah, but there isn't.

I'm done. There isn't. Who has the time? I'm so far the 13th that is tomorrow.

For real. Yes, right. It won't be after that date when you're listening to this, because I won't be able to put that out by tomorrow. We got things.

We can all find facts. But what if I can't be right? Shall we pack our bags and get on down to the lake? Maybe we should be like, yeah, we're doing this now because it actually is Friday the 13th.

We've been established. We just said that. Oh, no. What happened?

I'm sorry. Oh, no. Let's hop in our Jeep. We got a big 80s here.

Only one. There was only one Jeep. Cody, only one Jeep was used in a film. Oh, oh, oh, oh.

Sorry. I got very serious. A lot of the film. I'm sorry.

Pot twist. Steve is also Jason's mom. Which one's Steve? The one who owned the...

I'm sorry, re-opening the camp. The one with the mustache. She was like, not attractive. But he was also fucking a 19 year old.

Is he the one who was chopping up that tree shirt with a banana? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

And the moment I was like, okay. I am. You know what? I'm gonna go ahead and open up the ID page for this movie because there was a lot of moments of me being like, who's that?

I remember most people's names. I think I got it. I'm just an 80s guy. I have a bit of a big nose.

I'm your maid jokes. Make some weird jokes. You know what an appropriate... Yeah.

He wore an appropriate Native American dress as a young, quite male. But Brenda was kind of cool along with the side ponytail. Why you wish. It's spoiler alert.

Yes. The one who's like, I'll probably play Strip Poker. Okay. Yeah.

I like to drop. She had spunk. She was fun. I was like, I'd hang out with her.

Bill. Okay. Bill was the one who was the nice guy. Yes.

Bill was the last one. Look at Bill's name. Who was it the actor who plays Bill Cody? Who would he think he's the son of?

Thing? I'm against it. Anyway, so that's Bill. He's like one of the actually the nicer guys.

I don't know why he dies. Actually, this is helpful. Let's just go through all the teens. Yeah.

Yeah. Because Alice is our main heroine. Marcy is the one who dies by the showers. She's the one who was...

Yeah, she's the one who's fucking gonna be. She's the one who's the monologue about her. She's the monologue about her. She's the monologue about her.

She's the monologue about her. I had a dream where there was rain and then it was blood. I don't know if I was like, hey Cody casually. I had this dream.

It was raining. It was raining. And it really scared me to turn to blood. I was like, can I have my dream and you're like, I really don't.

No, I don't know. I mean, that's true. But like, I don't know. If someone's like, I had this dream and then everything turned to blood, I'd be a little concerned.

I'm like, I'm not, you know. Anyway, I have some water. You're dehydrated. Jack can bake it.

So then we have both Annie. She's the one who starts the movie. Oh my God. She's like, what?

Wait a... Camp! What the fuck? She was very sweet.

Jack is making bacon and I've said. Bill is the last one to die. He's the one who you seem to shot with arrows on the closet door. He's honestly the nicer of the guys.

Yes. He's also playing strip poker. Brenda. Brenda.

Also play strip poker. Side ponytail. She's in her dies in the archery band. We don't actually see her die.

Right. She's her go to the archery band. She's turning down. Yeah, but her body's turned into a window.

And Ned is... The silly, stupid one who pretends to drown. Right. Just so we can kiss Brenda.

I need to be a picture of him being pulled out of the lake in this movie. Oh my God. You see? One nipple.

One nipple. Yeah, he was Ned and... What's that? What in fact?

Shall I go into the beginning? Oh, well real fast. It's not named on prime. We're gonna watch her right now and come to us.

Also, just like go see it. Like, where are you listening? Go see it. Like, watch it.

Yeah, have you? Just go watch it. Hey, you? Yeah, I'm fucking...

I'm fucking you. Don't be mad at me. Watch this movie. Yeah, bitch.

Was that like ASMR? Was that ASMR? What's that? I'll be saying.

The thing where people talk really close to the microphone and they're like, welcome to the hair salon. Oh, and you're supposed to give you like tingles. Oh, I don't know. It's really just...

It gave me the opposite of that. Hit me... Tongles. No, okay.

I don't know. I'm talking about the movie. So basically, Victor Miller who wrote this movie. He's from Long Island.

Hey, also the girl who played Alice. She's also from Long Island. Oh, I'm sorry. Victor Miller was born in Louisiana, but raised in Long Island.

Anyway, he basically was like, hey, he wrote... He also did... Oh, shit. I forgot the director's name.

Sean Cumberland. I believe his director's name. And basically these dudes really like to just kind of... Sean S.

Yes, what did I say? Sean Cumberland. I like my name. Sean S.

I like my better. I'm sorry, was it coming in or...? Coming in here. This is the only Friday the 13th he directed, but he produced a lot of disables.

Okay, nice. Or... Yeah, he also did a lot of stuff on the left. So anyway, he's trying to dab...

He basically held me... He directed, but he... Oh, no. He was involved.

He produced it. He produced it. It's okay. Oh, God.

And Victor Miller was basically like, hey, Halloween was super successful. I should write a... I should do a horror movie. So a lot of his movies are kind of...

Under that kind of light. It's... Yeah. I'm like, let me write off of this idea.

Even the whole... Sorry, we're just like... No, you're right. I'm so sorry.

I'm gonna talk over you. Let's talk about this. The only thing I'm gonna move... The only thing I'm gonna move...

Is literally that. And even Rhinepamal was funny because this is based off of deliverance. So everything is a ripoff of everything. Well, it's based off of deliverance.

I saw it in deliverance, but supposedly that ending. The kind of scare... I don't know. Supposedly it's a similar thing of someone coming out of water.

I'm sure it's a very safe and fun moment for the person. Anyway. I don't know. Yeah, it's very similar to Halloween and the...

Let's set up all these silly teenagers. And they're gonna be like... What's it called? What's it called?

All the time for having sex. Bumping uglies. Oh my God! Love and praise, honey, if you're me.

Yeah, bump and gorgeous. Like I've never seen that respect. I'm like, I've never seen that respect. I'm shaking my head really hard.

Also, why are you shaking your butt at someone? Someone else's butt. What? I'm just making jokes.

Like, bumping up with any sex. I'm like, bumping up with any sex. Anyway, it's a lot of sudden, a bunch of teenagers are gonna be like, doing each other and stuff. One by one, except for the one.

You're like, one with the most distinguished haircut. She will save the day. You know what it is because she has a semi-boyish haircut. She doesn't wear as much makeup.

But what is interesting is actually, unlike most of her tropes in such, usually the main female doesn't really have sex, she doesn't have sexual nature. She's a fine-over. Exactly. Like, Carrie or like, Laurie and Halloween.

So it's interesting that Alice is like getting it in. Is that she? She's fucking Steve. Did you miss that?

Steve. We just did this. The guy who was with the mustache, she was talking, look, the one who was doing the camp. We don't see them doing it.

We don't. No, thank God. Right. But I remember he was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

Well, because she drew him and he's like, is that what I was like last night? Bitch. It's just like a stick figure of like, what a dick. Massive cartoon direction.

Get it Alice. Great. Some of the things it was going to be called Long Night at Camp Blood, which is funny because Ralph is like, it's called Camp Blood. That's more specific title than Friday the 13th.

That's kind of big. Exactly. Friday the 13th is specific. Also Long Night at Camp Blood sounds like when you wake up and you have your period everywhere.

Like, all the sheets. Long Night at Camp Blood. Oh, it's like a nice light. You're fizzing for the only period.

Nope. We'll pitch in a ten. I would think we're better. Sorry, that's for the weekend.

I can't blood. Because when you say a pitch in a ten, I'm like a boner underneath the sheets. Okay. Jinx's the skull.

Okay. I'm going to pitch up around. Jinx's the skull. Hey, did this movie so much.

And he was like, this is terrible. And he and Roger Ebert even went on to say how this movie is part of these films that really are super misogynistic slasher movies. Which... He also hated the woman who played Mrs.

Boor. He's performing so much that he published her address. But I never viewed him. Wrong address that way.

But it wasn't her address. It was just somebody else's address. Either way, it seems highly unethical. So, does it hate male?

Times have changed. Or does it get her house? I don't know. Leave Betsy Palmer alone.

She'd be the gig. She wanted a new car. Yeah, it's not even a movie. She was like, I just thought I was a piece of shit.

But, I love it. I love it. And then, actually, this is my other one. I love it.

I'm very, very hard right now. The guy. Remember? What was her name?

The first girl? Annie. She... Kind of has a little key.

Annie is also a character in Halloween. Is she? Yeah, she's some... P.D.soles, I think.

Before I tell her why. I mean, there's a whole thing that they're all connected. Plot-wise. I don't know the same universe.

Really? There's their theories. I didn't know how to go through it. Who does?

I never heard that before. She's the one who's like, I'm decorating my laundry. What a member. I see Halloween a lot.

I love it. Oh, I don't watch it in a few minutes. Okay, so when Annie goes in, she goes, I got a camera with Crystal Lake, she hops into the truck with that one gentleman. Yes.

Or we don't see... Oh, the trucker. The trucker. Not that yet.

But that guy, for something his rex ever heart, which is a great name, is the voice of Maurice in the Beast movie. The cartoon. The one that we know. Damn.

Yeah. But that. I know it very well. Oh, you fucking know.

Yeah, let's just do it. Yeah. Let's just go in on the plot. Fun facts.

I was ready to hate it because I've seen it two times before this and I was not really invested this time though. Fun. It's just like, I think going in, going was gonna be really fucking stupid by the end. Yeah, I mean, it's not really that well-acted.

No. It's not super well executed. The writing is pretty poor. The writing is pretty poor.

Not even very scary. Really watching it and thinking of the logic of like, okay, spoiler, like, wait, this grown ass woman is running through these woods and she's... Turn the lights on and off. She knows exactly where these kids are gonna sl- like exactly which bunk that kid's gonna go to bed and hide under beds, throwing bodies through windows.

Yeah. Listen, don't worry about it. Just eat your protein. Anybody's around?

I see you, cinema sins. You're everything wrong with videos. Fuck that. Oh my god.

I hate that. Great. So we had opens up 1958, campus to Lake Motherfucker, which, oh, I'm sorry, where is this camp located, Cody? Only about the state in the country.

My home state of New Jersey. Oh, I had 19 accidents in that sentence. Your smile was so loud. I feel like your cheeks went into your eyeballs.

I think New Jersey has the most avid residents in that we are so quick to defend our state. I love it. I'm gonna live there anymore. Yeah.

I mean, you just, you just punched me out. I have tears. I mean, those ones are beautiful. Let's sing the state song of New Jersey.

Jersey. Baby, I was wrong to run. It's just Bon Jovi and Springs. I know, get in there.

I'm sorry. Even the thought of Bruce Springs makes me so aroused. I can't even talk. That's the right answer.

I thought you were gonna say, disgusting. Yeah. Well, you have long hours at Billy Joel, so you're fine. Right, but I don't want to fuck Billy Joel.

I want to fuck Bruce Springs. No, we don't. Oh honey, but you want to hang out with him, but like, you're like, oh, dude, you got to chill out. You're like three beers ahead of us.

Yeah, you're doing Coke and like, it's my grandma's funeral. I would love to do Jovi. Yeah. Oh my god.

Yeah, I'm in New Jersey. I'm in New Jersey. I'm in New Jersey, but it's kind of a Jesusy camp. I think camps just worth singing Jesus a lot.

Or you just gather around that fire and you sing him. I don't know. Yeah, because they're singing about Jesus. And I was like, that's interesting.

But it's also a Jesusy. That's on the goes like this. Oh, they knew. They were singing on by college.

We had a co-in-law. They wrote it. And Jovi's is like, that's honestly beautiful. I'm moved.

I'm not going to touch you. Yeah. And Jovi's already being a creeper. Yes.

So it starts almost identically to how Halloween starts with a POV of the killer. Oh, yeah. And they're like, addressing it like, how high? It's one time.

Okay. No, hello. Hi, smoking me. Hi.

Oh, no. Nothing. I'm going to jump. Oh, hi.

Oh, hi. It looks at that. Yeah. Okay.

So there's these kids playing guitar, singing through the halloward of the fuck. And two of them are like, let's not a halo. They go up and then we see the killer POV and walk up the stairs. We don't know who it is yet.

We don't know who it is, but they're looking watching people sleeping. They're creeping on this couple like, drawing humping. Yes. And I like that the kids who are about to be killed recognize the killer, but they don't make it clear who it is.

They're like, oh, we weren't doing anything. Hi. Yeah. They really recognize this person, but it's not specific.

Like, it's another camper as a counselor. Yeah. Cool. And like a kill and freeze frame on the young woman's screaming.

Oh, slow mo freeze frame, zoom into her mouth and then into weight. Yes. And then try 13 for the smash through some glass. Yeah.

That font makes no sense to me. And those credits take a long ass time. They take it very slowly paced. So then it cuts to VC Annie.

She's a young, sprightly young woman who clearly... They care about dreams. Lots of dreams and lots of energy. It's the late 70s.

Yeah. They basically... Right. It's just Friday, June 13th, present day.

Yeah. Fun fact, Friday, June 13th is a... What was it? But in 1958, the 13th of June was like a Wednesday.

So everyone's a liar. Nothing's real. Well, Santa is the Easter Bunny. But she's walking around.

She stops. She sees this three dog and touches and asks where the camp is and clearly the dog doesn't answer her, but she also gets rabies. So that's good. I know.

Don't touch your like scruff and all of a sudden. It's spooky but kind of. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. You're right. And then she goes into like the old watering hole.

Fuck. She walks into like a diner. Were they drinking? No, they're eating as a girl.

You can't handle me in my Ralph. You don't handle me in my auntie. You don't have to handle me in my Ralph. I like that Ralph is the prize there.

Because he's like a fan of fun. Kind of spent a day. That's me. He's eco friendly.

Oh, he's eco friendly and he's looking out. And he knows what the fuck's going on. I got you girl. Can't blow.

Do we need some tampons? Great. So then this dude, the guy who's the voice of Maurice decides to take her to... Oh no, he says he's going to drive her half way.

Which I know it's so unsafe. Why would you drive this poor little creature who looks like a wooden imp just halfway? Right. The one who's delivering every line like, well mister.

Oh, well I just want to... I always want to work with kids. Yeah, first of all, I don't know. It's okay.

You can be like, listen, I got to save up. She was the only one who actually wanted to work at the camp who wanted to work there. Yeah, yeah. I think they literally just did that to make it seem.

Well, I just want to work in the kitchen. She has that thing. They're coming. They're back.

They're recording. Where the police are going to stop us. Oh, I... Yeah, so we're driving.

He's driving her half way there. And he's clearly like, you can't go there. It's bad. And she goes, what?

Why? Because I'm not telling you. And it's like, bitch, everyone is openly saying you will die if you go to the place. But that means they could be like, yeah, there are some kids killed, period.

I don't know. Maybe he doesn't. And this is where they say here that they haven't opened the camp since the killing. Because I missed that.

I don't remember exactly when... I think between that scene and the earlier scene when she's in the diner bar or whatever. I think it's established. I don't remember exactly what I said because I knew that somehow.

They're like, oh Steve, he's gonna be taking care of it. He has a mustache and lovely pink nipples. You like him. And so Maurice the dad from gonna be his traps are off.

You know, move nowhere. Yeah. This is also where I was like, I know exactly where we are in New Jersey. There's so many card noises.

Listeners, I'm so sorry. I forgot to work this in the middle of the intersection. We are in New Jersey in the middle of the Jersey term. Yeah, like the truck says Stan Hope, New Jersey.

And there's a cemetery that's just Hope. All these locations... Oh my god. All these locations are less than an hour from where I grew up.

Ah! And also 90% sure my mother went to the camp that they filmed this. Oh, so the camp, no be Bosco. Bosco.

Sorry. This is all less than an hour from where I grew up. So I'm just feeling a lot of pride. It looks just like right around all the woods.

It's so beautiful. I love New Jersey. Maybe next time the home I'll go take some pictures. Fantastic.

Oh, actually, maybe you'll notice this is real. Supposedly, the camp is next to or nearby a farm where Lou Reed lived. Because supposedly he visited the set and was super cool to everybody. Maybe.

Does he seem like... I mean, it's from New York. Maybe he was just like, I'm gonna scoot over this way and put a farm in the 80s. Sure.

Alright, he doesn't say no. Anyway, cool. They're in the car. She gets out.

She's like cool, cool, cool. Yes. Before we see Annie again, it cuts to the camp for the first time. We see Ken Bacon and a little car.

It's Jack and Mercy and Ned and they're right and they're in the car together and there's like loud banjo music playing. That's what they're listening to. While our home girl Annie is about to get thrown out of a fucking Jeep, they're like listening to me and I'm like, you know, you know, you don't need to be like loud banjo music. It's really a weird tone that we don't return to in the movie.

It doesn't exist in the south. No, do people listen to aggressive banjo music in the woods of Jersey? No. No.

No, no, no, no. No, no, no. No one else. So yeah, we meet them and then we meet Alice.

Alice is a lot of floppy hand acting. Oh, sweetie. Yeah. Sally Field auditions for that role.

And didn't get it? I guess not. I mean, she was busy doing something else. That's so weird because she wins her Oscar the year before this.

What are you doing, sweetie? They try to get some other Oscar winning actress to play Brenda. Like they try to get good people and it's like, don't do that. Joan Crawford.

And Neryl Streep as Mrs. Boy. She did an Oscar. I would fucking watch that.

I know. But she was like a modern day. She's like, getting she done. Running a business.

That's not not Mamma Mia. If she had a son. Run her out, please. Oh my god.

Wait, that can be like her story. She starts off as a boy. He's her son dies and then she turns her life around. She goes to the camera and goes, Mamma Mia.

Here I go again after she kills the woman. Oh. Yeah. Hand my back to Ang from Alice.

God. We see them setting up the archery range. I'm almost good at the nightmare. Yeah.

Because he wants to finger her. But she's like, I'm so good at the thing. She's like, how's what you doing? And then she's like, oh, you.

Yeah. I'm like, you got some fucking... It's a really great strong female character writing. Yeah.

Look up her. We have come. So let me go back to Annie. She's taking her sweet time in Medtikam.

She's just kind of wandering down the road. Oh, she's like eating leaves and singing to the birds. And then it jumbles up. I think it's so weird that her plan, her travel plan to get to, her place of employment was...

I'm just gonna wing it. My dad had time to work every single day. In the city, in New York City, in the 70s. And he's still alive.

He was a young person. There were a lot of cars. What was it? There were a lot of cars in New York.

That's true. It is not on the way. She just opened. Oh, no, you're right.

I'm sorry. I see the logic there. I'm going from a safety point. I mean, he's like a girl for a bad night.

And her tagline on the show is the same. He's her very bad. Right. That's on all of our T-shirts and mugs and her key-chings.

Yeah, is it our... No, I'm just doing my flesh. Yeah. She's like, you're right.

That is a real student plan. And I'm like a girl. I guarantee she's like, mom and dad, I'm just gonna figure it out. I'm just gonna do it.

I'm just gonna do it. I'm just gonna do it. I'm just gonna do it. She's babbling on and on and on.

I'm just gonna do it. You can say it's a dream. I'm not exaggerating. This is what she sounds like.

No, this is a very good picture here. I'm pretty sure it was 80-yard and afterwards. She was in the recording booth. I was gonna see the sound production.

The sound production does not work. It doesn't match up with the sound quality of everything else happening in the scene. I'm pretty sure she was in a booth making these choices. Which is really worse.

Like, it's not even like, she was just in the moment. Like, really excited that day of. They're all high in the studio. Oh, you're going to drain me?

Well, another person's driver isn't responding. They're not talking, which they don't know. We're seeing it from their POV. And then she's leaning into a pass that can't.

That's not cool. So she goes out there. But she definitely kind of lands on her head. Like, she does a wall, but she does a kind of lands on her head.

She jumps out. If I was jumping off of the diving board, I would call what she does the pencil. Where she just jumps straight up and down. But then when she lands, she's in a full-sum result, breaking her neck.

She's gonna die. Bling versus the air, seeing it's a weird edit. It's not the kind of newity. I think she was very funny.

She was kind of a jimness, but she was a kind of mover or something. Like, she knew what she could do. Yeah, but she looked weird. And she gets chased by this person.

And it is cool because the way they do shoot it, and granted it wasn't a man who was being the body as the person. Eventually Mrs. Warhees. But it is done in a way where we're like, oh, those boots?

You know, couldn't go either way. And the plan. You see a little bit of a boot in the shirt. And you see them later when you see her attacking Allison on the beach.

You see the shoes. They even gave Beth Palmer like, Larry. Oh. Maybe you should stop.

Maybe you should just take a minute. I didn't take a nap. That's real. Yeah.

And when we see the POVs, yeah, hand of the ring, it's kind of a thick ring. So it could be a man ring or it could be a lady ring. Not that that means anything, but in the 80s it did. So yeah, they do kind of, especially when they're going through the way they try to make it big as possible.

It is. And then she's never like, mister or. Hey, Mrs. Hey, you look like the one's mom.

Where are you? Oh, nice knit turtleneck. Which is, I didn't realize that until the time I watched it. I was like, that is kind of an extra scary part of it.

Especially at the end when Allison's like, oh, she runs into her arms. She's immediately like, oh, you look like a monorangle of fucking sweaters. And then we see the, this is the fur. We see they clearly did a thing where like Annie is up against the tree and there's clearly some plaster around her neck that is not the same color of the rest of her skin.

And we see her throat get cut, which I guess could be impressed. I mean, it's impressive. It's just like blood is nasty. It's blue and we're like, oh, wow, good job.

Right. And then she doesn't have to answer it. Great. And then we do, oh, there's a white out shot of that out of that.

The yellow white out there. The same thing after the first time. It's like that. It's all leaving.
